Dr. Ha is a pain management physician at Summit Pain Alliance in Santa Rosa and Petaluma, California. Growing up he was fascinated with the inner workings of the human body and decided to pursue a degree in Biological Sciences at the UCI. It was during this time he had had an opportunity to work at several prestigious labs and help perform research in breast cancer metastasis and immunology.
His interest in research continued after obtaining his undergraduate degree and he went on to perform research on stem cells at the UCLA. It was during this time that he decided to pursue a career in medicine. He went on to complete his medical degree at Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, CA.
After medical school, Dr. Ha completed an internship in General Surgery at UCLA Harbor. He then moved on to complete his training in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston, a busy level 1 trauma center. It was during this time he developed an interest in how pain affects the body.
After completing his residency in anesthesia, he decided to pursue additional training in interventional pain management at the New York University in Manhattan. After completing his program, he decided to return to his home state of California, where he now treats a variety of painful conditions with the ultimate goal in mind of maximizing functionality for patients.
